Full-Stack Developer
Shipping still runs on email threads and spreadsheets. We're changing that at Nautica — a customer portal where our clients track their own bookings and containers, and internal tools that give our desks back their hours. We're looking for a developer to build it with us, and to own it once it's live.
Apply nowWhat you’ll do
- Build and maintain our customer portal — bookings, container tracking, quotations and documents
- Own our public website and schedules pages end to end, from feature to deploy
- Develop internal tools that take manual work off the operations, documentation and accounting desks
- Integrate our systems with partners, carriers and our Dynamics / Dataverse back office
- Look after hosting, deployments, backups and day-to-day reliability of what you ship
What you’ll bring
- Two-plus years building and shipping web applications end to end
- Strong TypeScript / JavaScript, with a modern React framework such as Next.js
- Comfortable on the back end — APIs, relational data, authentication and access control
- Familiar with Git, cloud hosting and CI/CD; able to take a feature from idea to production
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Power Platform, or an interest in learning it, is a plus
- Shipping, logistics or ERP experience is welcome but not required — we will teach you the trade
- Self-directed and pragmatic: this is a small team, and you will own what you build
What we offer
- Comparably competitive salary package
- Real ownership — your work goes live in front of customers, not into a backlog
- Peace and stability in the workplace
- A culture of mutual respect
- Competitive medical insurance package
- Recognition for hard work
